Training and Research

Our NGO, ABHYAS, runs special programs to provide education in Yoga and Indian culture to children. The purpose of these programs is to promote physical, mental, and spiritual development in children while acquainting them with our rich cultural heritage.
Cultural Knowledge

1. Cultural Knowledge: Children are given information about Indian history, mythological stories, and major festivals. This helps them gain knowledge about their cultural roots and instills pride in their heritage.

2. Music and Dance: Through the education of Indian classical music and dance, children are connected to our cultural heritage. This not only enhances their creativity but also develops discipline and patience in them.

3. Arts and Crafts: Children are taught various forms of Indian arts and crafts, encouraging their creativity and artistic skills.

Yoga Education

1. **Benefits of Yoga:** Simple and engaging methods are used to explain the benefits of yoga to children. This includes emphasizing aspects that enhance physical health, mental stability, and the ability to concentrate.

2. **Asanas and Pranayama:** Children are taught simple asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques) according to their age and physical capacity. These practices help in improving their physical flexibility and respiratory system.

3. **Meditation and Mindfulness:** Through meditation and mental focus techniques, children are taught self-control and positive thinking, which aid in their educational and personal lives.
YTTC Yoga

The Yoga Teacher Training Course (YTTC) is an immersive program designed to deepen practitioners’ understanding and practice of yoga. Participants delve into yogic philosophy, anatomy, teaching methodology, and meditation, guided by experienced instructors. The training includes intensive asana practice to refine alignment and technique, fostering personal growth and spiritual development. Emphasis is placed on developing the skills necessary to teach confidently and effectively, equipping graduates to lead classes with knowledge and compassion. YTTC cultivates a supportive community where students learn from each other’s experiences, creating a transformative journey that prepares individuals to share the profound benefits of yoga with others.
Spiritual Growth

Spiritual Growth training focuses on inner development and consciousness expansion through various practices like meditation, mindfulness, and introspective techniques. Participants explore spiritual teachings, ancient wisdom traditions, and modern psychological insights to deepen their understanding of themselves and their connection to the universe. The training encourages self-reflection, emotional healing, and the cultivation of virtues like compassion and gratitude. Facilitators guide individuals in exploring their spiritual path, integrating spiritual principles into daily life, and fostering a sense of purpose and inner peace. Spiritual Growth training aims to empower individuals to live authentically, aligned with their highest values and spiritual aspirations.
Net-Jrf yoga

The National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellowship (NET-JRF) in Yoga is a rigorous academic and practical examination aimed at assessing candidates’ comprehensive understanding of yoga theory and practice. It covers a wide range of topics including traditional yogic texts, philosophy, anatomy, therapeutic applications, and contemporary research in yoga. Candidates are evaluated on their ability to critically analyze and interpret yoga concepts, demonstrate advanced proficiency in asana practice, and apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings. The NET-JRF in Yoga seeks to identify and support talented individuals capable of contributing to the field through research, teaching, and innovative applications of yoga principles.
